Illustrated Animal Series | Commission Work
Project Objective
A set of illustrated animals in the works for a sub-brand apparel line geared toward Breckenridge, Colorado adventure-line customers. Owner of the company assigned me to illustrate the different animals requested. Pictured here is a golden retriever, a black lab, and a grizzly bear.
The grizzly bear is based off of a sketch provided by the sales rep from Colorado who had the idea for the illustrated animal apparel. I loved the expression he gave the bear! The sunglasses throughout also were part of sketched ideas from the sales rep. The black lab and golden retriever illustrations were illustrated using reference photos of those dog breeds.
