KSU Master of Social Work Cohort Shirt Design | Commission Work
Project Objective
A student from Kennesaw State University reached out to me for a shirt design for the Master of Social Work cohort. They wanted an illustrative back design that revolved around mental health and the inclusion of the suicide prevention hotline. I sketched ideas centered around self care, connection, friendship, and reaching out to someone. The cohort loved the phone illustration, and I created multiple type and layout options to tie the back piece together. They also wanted a front or left chest design that said “KSU” and “Master of Social Work.” I started with front mockups that were similar to the reference image they provided. They asked to see more front options after the first round of designs, so I included more illustrated versions that further matched with the back design.
