Senior Thesis Objective
For my BFA graphic design thesis, the brief was to create a new company that, not only did not already exist, but also involved a creative connection of two ideas. I chose to create an alcohol-infused ice cream float truck called The Spiked Spoon.
The creative process involved : word maps, mood boards, logo sketches, full logo vectorization (including the type “The Spiked Spoon,”) copy, photography, illustration, website creation, apparel, menus, and other print collateral.

The Spiked Spoon is your happy-hour hot spot that offers a monthly rotating selection of
boozy ice cream floats—all on wheels! Want a traditional-style float without the alcohol or out
with your kiddos? Great! The Spiked Spoon also offers a selection of virgin float classics like
root beer floats, orange soda floats, and cream soda floats. Established in 2017, The Spiked
Spoon is currently one truck floating around Houston, Texas. You can track our truck, check
